Hello everyone! With this cold weather and gray sky the ideal Sunday snack is a hot chocolate, thick and bitter as I like. Here I show you a quick and easy recipe to make a healthy hot chocolate without using the ready ones.
Ingredients for a cup:
a scant cup of vegetable milk (or vaccine if not vegan)
2 tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa
1 cube of dark chocolate
2 teaspoons of potato starch
Agave syrup to taste
Method:
Put on low heat a pan with the milk; add the cocoa stirring continuously in order to obtain a homogeneous liquid. When hot add the starch, stirring constantly. Gradually your chocolate should become thicker and thicker. At this stage it is important to keep stirring to prevent the starch to create lumps; if you like a very thick consistency you'll have to leave it on the heat longer and keep stirring (also adding a touch of starch if necessary). When you reach the consistency you like, add the cube of dark chocolate and let it melt well. Serve and sweeten with agave syrup. Enjoy!
