Hi everyone. Today I am happy to present you a new, easy and very good recipe for some fruity pastries. I love fruits and I love the sweets with fruits inside…for this reason in this recipe I put 2 delicious fruits: kaki and cherries!
In this period I see many kaki fruits at the supermarket…this is really their season! Kaki have a sweet taste and soft consistency so I started to think how to use these delicious fruits in a recipe and here I am to present you the result of my experiment!
Even if you don’t like this fruit by its own, I can ensure you that you won’t taste it in these pastries, but the fruit will give to them an amazing sweet flavor! This sweets are ideal for an afternoon break or in the morning with a bit of jam!
Ingredients for 15 pastries:
The flesh of 1 big caco
15 dates
100 gr of hazelnut
100 gr of whole flour
50 gr of oats flackes
3 tablespoon of maple syrup
20 cherries (fresh or frozen)
Method:
Pre heat the oven at 180 degrees. Place in a blender the flesh of the kaki, the dates, the maple syrup and the hazelnut. Mix all the ingredient for few minutes till you obtain a soft mixture.
Put in a bowl the flour and the oats flakes. Pour the mixture on the flour and stir everything with the help of a wooden spoon. Cut the cherries in halves and add them into the mixture.
Place some oven paper in a backing tray and place the mixture.
Cook for 30 minutes at 180 degrees. Remove the tray form the oven and when the mixture is colder, cut is in squared pieces. Enjoy!
